The Bottega di Stigliano shows us how we can combine the act of eating with culture. The culture of territory, food, local agriculture and good food. The Bottega di Stigliano’s restaurant and shop continue the long culinary tradition of the farmhouse in which they are located, a meeting place for the wide network of active producers that supply them.
The Bottega di Stigliano is a laboratory of food: the driving force behind a new dimension of territory, social identity and consumption focussing heavily on biodiversity. The project aims to create a cultural bridge between city and countryside in people’s minds, reuniting food with agriculture and guaranteeing a sustainable consumption of territorial resources. A laboratory of ideas promoting positive relationships with food, high quality agriculture, crafts and health.
