“Eat local today for a sustainable tomorrow” this is the phrase that best describes the Bottega di Stigliano, from the moment of its foundation until today, also explaining its title of Integrated Supply Chain Project (ISCP) funded by the PSR Region of Tuscany (2016-2017)  which promotes the development of strategies aimed at strengthening the provincial network of high quality farmers, organising and stimulating production, resupplying public and private catering and contributing to the growth of more aware consumers.

The objective of the ISCP is to qualify the “La Bottega di Stigliano” brand regarding the traceability, identity, and quality of its products through activities undertaken in the various individual companies who are bound by a common strategy to valorise the products for:
– improved production of the individual partner companies,
– a reinforcing of the processing/packaging phase,
– the opening and development of new commercial channels, first and foremost e-commerce,
– stronger organisation of the supply chain in dealing with the weaker areas of supply and in accessing a wider market,
– the development of the BASIQ “La Bottega Alimentare Food Store of Sustainability – Identity – Quality” cooperation project for innovation and technological transfer aimed at minimising environmental impact, guaranteeing the traceability of supply chains and the nutraceutical properties of the products.
